Surface mount resistor: It is a combined form of resistors in mobile phones. It is a composite resistor composed of two or more resistors with the same coated resistance value. Resistor function: The resistor blocks the current and reduces the current. According to Ohm's Law: I = U/R, the greater the resistance of the coating, the smaller the current. 


Series resistance: Two resistors are connected end-to-end. In a series resistance circuit, the current passing through each resistor is the same, but the voltage across each resistor is not the same. The total resistance increases after they are connected in series. 


Resistors in parallel: Two or more resistors are connected in parallel. In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each resistor is the same, but the current flowing through each resistor is different. The total resistance of the parallel resistors will decrease. 


Mixed resistance: In actual circuits, there are many resistors. Some are connected in series first, then in parallel; some are connected end-to-end. This should also be understood as being connected in parallel first and then in series. This is called mixed resistance. 


Resistance characteristics: Energy consumption. It is effective for both AC and DC. It has three main functions in the circuit: current limiting and voltage division;

Resistance measurement: When using a multimeter for measurement, select the Ω (ohm) range and start from the highest value and gradually decrease.
